Turkish Property Gems Bozburun Peninsula One of Twelve Top Locations

K. Lake Iznik
Relatively few foreigners venture out to Lake that is beautiful Iznik even though it’s a couple of hours’ ferry/car
journey away from Istanbul. Fringed by reeds and ringed by mountains, the still, clear waters regarding the pond are a
pleasure for bird-watchers. The old, walled town of the name that is same at the eastern end of this pond, is a laid-back
spot serving the neighborhood agricultural community (olives are big company here) and Istanbulites escaping the big city.
Famed for the council that is ecumenical occurred here in 325, a defining moment in the development of Christianity
(known to posterity due to the fact Council of Nicaea), it's house to a Roman theater, Byzantine churches and Ottoman mosques.

L. Dalyan Delta

The delta of this lazy, meandering Dalyan river, is one of Turkey’s natural wonders. Not least because it finishes perhaps not in
some fetid swamp, but during the white curve of spectacular Iztuzu coastline, a major nesting website associated with the loggerhead turtle.
The fresh waters for the river mean the certain area is rich in wildlife. A lot more than 150 bird types can here be found,
including pelicans and kingfishers. Dalyan town has retained much of its town charm, there’s the well-preserved
ancient website of Kaunos to see just over the river, as well as the health-giving (and fun!) mudbaths of Köycegiz.
